Walking around the town of Cambria gave us some great backdrops for Sophie’s Senior Portrait Session. Every corner we turned was an opportunity for a few shots, and Sophie was ready for action so we came away with a huge variety of poses and settings! I couldn’t be happier with my job, and with the people I get to work with!
The Peninsula at Hearst State Beach, a.k.a. San Simeon Cove
Today I photographed 3 generations of a beautiful family at The Hearst State Beach while on their vacation. I love family reunion photo shoots – seeing grandparents play with grandkids, and parents struggling to corral children is food for my soul.
Thinking ahead, I brought my running shoes and a change of clothes, and hit the sand at 6pm after the shoot. I was in awe of all the natural beauty of the cove and enjoyed my iPhone panoramic option. I highly recommend the trail that heads up and around the peninsula at the end of the cove.
Intimate Wedding in Cambria
Jerry and Darlene’s intimate wedding in Cambria at Santa Rosa Chapel, was the second marriage for them both, so they chose to simply invite immediate family. Their love and commitment shined brightly with a colorful sand ceremony and a fun-loving spirit. They smiled and laughed throughout their ceremony and portrait time, and then we bravely headed to Moonstone Beach for a few windy shots :). I would wish them much happiness but they don’t need it, they are a darling pair. Congratulations!!!
