Family portraits at the beach are so fun to shoot, especially when an adorable dog is apart of the fun! This family of three were on vacation from Southern California when they decided to hire me for an amazing photo session at Hearst State Beach (also known as “The Cove” to locals). These sort of shoots feel like hanging out with friends at the beach for an hour. Feel the sand between your toes, laugh as your dog runs around. Plus climb ocean front cliffs for a great photo op. After all this fun and quality family time, you get to keep 100 sweet Dog Family Portraits that will make you smile for years to come! I feel so blessed to capture these moments in time for such a beautiful family, and one adorable dog.
As I drove out Santa Rosa Creek Road past Linn’s Farm House to photograph Cutruzzola Vineyards for their new tasting room on Main Street in Cambria (coming soon next to the Shell Gas Station); I saw these pretty white cows on the creamy hillside and thought they were worth a few shots.
Cambria is such a fun place to live with all sorts of animals constantly walking around our streets. Every time I leave the house, I never fail to see something new and unique around the Central Coast. I would encourage everyone to step outside today and just take some time to look around!
Driving out Santa Rosa Creek Road you’ll see a darling white house with a beautiful grass yard and cows with their calves a few miles from Main St. Cambria. I have always loved the tree near the road, so today we stopped to ask the owner, Ollie, if we could traverse his lawn to the tree. It was beautiful from his driveway as we left our photo op spot, so I snapped this shot.
