Shooting natural light family portraits are my favorite! Even though photographing a family of six (including 4 children under 12), could be a challenge; these darling children were so well behaved and calm. Almost like a spell had been cast on them (haha!). Mom brought snacks and a bribe, and the results were definitely better 🙂
We started the family portraits right along Highway 1 north of Cayucos at a random pullout with a large ocean bluff field. Then we took more family photos around Moonstone Beach!
The weather was sunny and warm with a slight breeze. I absolutely love living on the Central Coast for days like these. Spending time and laughing with these sweet and beautiful children was all so delightful – it made me love my job even more.
Dog family portraits at the beach are super fun! This family of three and their adorable dog was on vacation from Southern California, and thought Hiring me themselves while on vacation. I love photo shoots because it’s just like hanging out for an hour with friends at the beach, with the main difference being you get to keep 100 sweet photos to make you smile for years to come! Feel the sand between your toes, laugh as your dog runs around, and climb ocean front cliffs for a great photo op.
This threesome was so sweet…on vacation from Southern California, they arranged a photo session at Hearst State Beach (also known as “The Cove” to locals.). The Central Coast of California is a gorgeous location for family photos!
We drove around Santa Ynez and Solvang to find the perfect locations for Niki and Jeff’s couple photography session. This fun filled couple is so gorgeous and in love; it radiates through their pictures. How do I keep getting so lucky sharing time with these lovely couples? I love my job!
