{ Dog Family Portraits at the Beach } Family of Three + Adorable Dog

Dog Family Portraits_Family of Three_Debbie Markham Photography

Family portraits at the beach are so fun to shoot, especially when an adorable dog is apart of the fun! This family of three were on vacation from Southern California when they decided to hire me for an amazing photo session at Hearst State Beach (also known as “The Cove” to locals). These sort of shoots feel like hanging out with friends at the beach for an hour. Feel the sand between your toes, laugh as your dog runs around. Plus climb ocean front cliffs for a great photo op.  After all this fun and quality family time, you get to keep 100 sweet Dog Family Portraits that will make you smile for years to come!  I feel so blessed to capture these moments in time for such a beautiful family, and one adorable dog.

3 Beautiful Generations {Family Reunion} The Hartnetts, The Stewarts & The McFaddens!

Debbie Markham Photography Family Reunion Photos at Hearst State Beach June

Where better to reunite 3 generations but on the Central Coast!!  I had the pleasure of capturing the essence of this lovely family at Hearst State Beach! The kids barely sat still for 1 second (boy I’ve forgotten how fast 1-5 year olds move) but thank goodness grandpa got them all to stay together for 1 photo!  It was delightful as always to help families capture their love. I hope the pics bring smiles to your faces for years to come!

The Peninsula at Hearst State Beach, a.k.a. San Simeon Cove

Debbie Markham Photography Tip of Peninsula view San Simeon Cove

Today I photographed 3 generations of a beautiful family at The Hearst State Beach while on their vacation.  I love family reunion photo shoots – seeing grandparents play with grandkids, and parents struggling to corral children is food for my soul.

Thinking ahead, I brought my running shoes and a change of clothes, and hit the sand at 6pm after the shoot.  I was in awe of all the natural beauty of the cove and enjoyed my iPhone panoramic option.  I highly recommend the trail that heads up and around the peninsula at the end of the cove.
