Being a same sex wedding photographer for the Central Coast of California is rewarding on so many levels!  The vows seem more loving, kind, meaningful, funny, and reflective. But most importantly, full of the most important reasons we all want to be married; unconditional love for another human being! Their family and friends attending were united, accepting, and delightful. A Cambria Pines Lodge Garden Wedding is such an awesome location for a destination wedding in California.

The elegant rustic hotel and gorgeous grounds have been serving wedding couples for years. With marriage equality in California, they have open arms for same-sex weddings.   To top it off, Jane Wiedlin, 2nd vocalist for the 80’s band The GoGo’s officiated the ceremony. And stayed through the reception for a momentous event!

Small Town Wedding {Carissa + Simon} Married at Santa Rosa Chapel

Small Town Wedding _Cambria

Being a wedding photographer for a small town wedding is just lovely, I get to know the couple more and feel like part of the family! Meeting and working with amazing people is such an enormous perk of my job. Congratulations to Carissa and Simon who exchanged vows with a sweet ceremony at Santa Rosa Chapel. Then we drove to the bluff overlooking Moonstone Beach for some wedding portraits outside, and their reception was at the lovely Indigo Moon Cafe in Cambria!  What a gorgeous day!!! I wish Carissa and Simon nothing but the best in their future adventures together!

Destination Wedding Photos

Hearst Castle Wedding Photos

These two were so cute to think of taking a tour and then taking some destination wedding photos around the grounds of Hearst Castle. They dressed up in their wedding attire and after we had a lovely tour of the Grand Rooms, we walked around for an hour and then drove down to a Vista View pull-out off highway 1 just north of Moonstone Beach in Cambria.

Unfortunately Hearst Castle doesn’t allow the public to walk around the grounds after the tour anymore, but there are many other beautiful locations for destination wedding photos!
