If you’re having an outdoor wedding, rain would seem to be your worst nightmare… and it happens occasionally. BUT the photos are SO BEAUTIFUL and ethereal… I love overcast wedding days! Gaby and Alex made the best of it and their love SHINES through so sweetly. Ragged Point Inn has a lovely Solarium to accommodate wedding events in case of any unfavorable weather, and that’s a major bonus for an outdoor venue! After their ceremony, it stopped raining and we headed outside for some portraits.
Darling Flower Girl under the Bride + Groom’s head table!
Nestled adorably with her aunt’s dog was the flower girl!!! It was a photograph I’d never taken before – underneath the head table, and that’s what I love about my job – finding the moments of each event to treasure.
Surprise Marriage Proposal at Hearst Castle
Beginning with a lovely afternoon tour of The Upstairs Rooms of Hearst Castle (Leo was probably wondering where exactly around the Neptune Pool he would pop the question to Michelle when it concluded) followed by a surprise wedding proposal just can’t be beat. Even the security guards were congratulating the happy couple. They are truly adorable together, as you can see, and have dated since high school!!! Congratulations Leo and Michelle! Your love is so contagious – I drove home giddy!
