Cal Poly and Cuesta Graduation Portraits

As a San Luis Obispo photographer, I love capturing college graduation portraits that honor not only the achievement itself, but also the energy, pride, and possibility that come with this season of life. Logan graduated from the nursing program at Cuesta College, Nate and friends graduated from Cal Poly, and David graduated from Cal State East Bay… allexciting milestones worth celebrating in a big way.

These graduation sessions in San Luis Obispo are such a fun way to celebrate. Bring a friend or a whole group of friends, a few bottles of champagne, or any props that feel personal to you. The photos are beautiful, but the best part is the memory of being together, laughing, celebrating, and documenting this unforgettable chapter with college graduation portraits you’ll always treasure.

Modern, Professional Head Shots, Outdoors

First impressions mean a lot to ALL humans, and modern, professional head shots give a great first impression. Instinctively, our brains judge if we trust this person, and if they aid in our survival of the fittest.

Viewing a webpage with professional head shots and other lifestyle photography shows thoughtfulness. It shows you a good work-life balance, and are open to sharing yourself. Generally speaking, I enjoy working with people like this. I don’t want to hire a work-a-holic who has no sense of the facets of life. I’d like to have a little fun while working hard, so I want to see someone who displays creativity, and who seems aware of time, money, pets, outfits (haha) and design. Above all, it conveys your best self.

Outdoor, professional head shots convey personality, intelligence and warmth. They show a hard working, professional person who is also very human and able to connect with clients. I do indoor studio head shots, and my friend Shea is a head shot master who I’m inspired by, however I prefer the natural light and street side settings of town for backdrops. And you can see why with Jessica’s modern portraits! She’s adorable and it shows. She’s also showing her clients “This is the town I live and work in!”

Every High School Senior Portrait session is different for each student. I love being a photographer in San Luis Obispo County! Every single student wants to tell a different story through their pictures, and it’s so fun to help them explore that. There are endless photo ops on country roads, beaches, trails and in town with all the different building styles and facades. This Senior and I had fun jumping in and out of my car on small country roads. Driving by sweet foliage and old sheds to pose by. Thank you Tiffany for letting me take your senior portrait pictures!
